When you send a service request through our contact form, we collect:

• Your name, phone number, street address and ZIP code
• Your email address and a description of the issue, if you choose to add them

We also keep the details of any calls, texts or emails you exchange with us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information from your request to:

• Call or text you about your request, confirm an appointment and let you know when our truck is on the way
• Prepare quotes and written inspection reports, and carry out the work you book
• Follow up on completed work and our satisfaction guarantee
• Measure which of our ads lead to service requests (see section 4)

We don’t sell your contact details, and we don’t give them to other businesses for their own marketing.

4. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

Our website uses Google Tag Manager to load the following tools, which set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser:

• Google Analytics 4 – shows us how visitors find and use the site, such as the pages viewed and the type of device and approximate location used.
• Meta Pixel – measures visits and service requests that come from our Facebook and Instagram ads, and helps us show our ads to people likely to need chimney service.
• Google Ads – measures which of our Google ads lead to service requests and helps us show relevant ads.

When you submit a service request, we also tell Meta that a request was made. This message includes your email address, phone number, name and ZIP code in hashed (encoded) form, along with your IP address and browser details, so Meta can match the request to one of our ads. Google and Meta handle this information under their own policies: the Google Privacy Policy and the Meta Privacy Policy.

5. Spam Protection

Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which looks at information such as your IP address and how you interact with the page to tell people apart from automated spam. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

6. Who We Share It With

We share information only with the service providers that help us run our business and this website, such as our website host and form provider (Netlify), Google and Meta, as described above. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

7. Your Choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad personalization in your Google ad settings and Meta ad preferences. Google also offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact us using the details below.

8. How Long We Keep It

We keep service requests and customer records for as long as we need them to serve you, honor our guarantee and keep business records, and then delete them.

9. Children

This website is meant for adults arranging service for their homes. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
