Stainless caps, relining, dampers and insert installation — measured to your flue, installed to code, and warrantied by the people who fitted them.
Most chimney installations are protective. A cap keeps rain, embers and animals out of the flue. A liner gives combustion gases a smooth, sealed path. A working damper stops your heated air from leaving through the roof all winter.
We measure on site rather than ordering from a photograph. An undersized cap or a liner rated for the wrong appliance causes the exact problems it was bought to prevent, so every install starts with an inspection and real dimensions.

Everything below is quoted from on-site measurements, installed by our own crew, and documented with photographs when the work is finished.

Stainless caps sized to the flue, replacing rusted or missing caps that let rain and animals in.

Relining for cracked clay tile or an appliance change, with the liner rated to the fuel it vents.

Top-sealing dampers that actually seal, or throat damper replacement where the original has failed.

Fireplace inserts and wood stoves set, vented and clearance checked against manufacturer specification.

Rusted prefab chase covers replaced in stainless, with a cross-break so water actually runs off.

New crowns cast with a proper overhang, then sealed with a vapor-permeable masonry waterproofer.
We measure the flue, crown and clearances on site. Nothing is ordered from a description over the phone.
Two or three real options with the trade-offs explained, quoted in writing with no pressure to take the top one.
Fitted by our own crew, not a subcontractor, with the roof and hearth protected while the work happens.
Photographs of the finished install, product paperwork, and the warranty terms in writing.
In this climate, yes. An uncapped flue takes on rain that soaks into the masonry, and it is an open door for birds and squirrels. A properly sized stainless cap is one of the least expensive pieces of chimney protection available.
Commonly for three reasons: the clay tile liner has cracked or spalled, you are changing appliances or fuels, or there was a chimney fire. A Level 2 camera inspection tells us which applies, and we price relining against the alternative so you can compare.
Most cap installations are finished in a single visit of a few hours. A full reline is typically a one-day job, though multi-flue chimneys and difficult roof access can extend it. We give you the expected duration with the estimate.
Usually. An insert needs the right firebox dimensions, an appropriately sized liner and correct clearances. We measure and confirm those before recommending a unit, rather than after it has been delivered.
Caps and chase covers are stocked in common sizes for quick turnaround, and custom fabrication is ordered against your on-site measurements. We cover Dallas, Garland, Plano, Richardson, Irving, Frisco, Carrollton, Addison, McKinney, Mesquite and the surrounding DFW communities.
